What's New for the 2025 Toyota Prius?

A stylish new Nightshade Edition has been added to the lineup. It features a number of black exterior treatments, including 19-inch black alloy wheels and blacked-out badges. Black upholstery with gray stitching further distinguishes the Prius Nightshade Edition. This trim is available in two exterior colors: Wind Chill Pearl and Midnight Black Metallic.

What Are the 2025 Prius Trims & Features?

There are four main Prius trim levels: LE, XLE, Nightshade Edition, and Limited. The entry-level Prius LE remains a great value. It has an impressive list of standard equipment. Highlights include an 8.0-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, a six-speaker stereo system, and LED headlights.

If you seek more luxury, consider the Prius XLE. Its power-adjustable driver's seat with power lumbar support helps elevate comfort. Other features include heated front seats, SofTex upholstery, and a wireless charging pad.

Drivers looking to make a bold statement will love the blacked-out Nightshade Edition trim.

For folks who desire an especially upscale driving experience, Toyota offers the Prius Limited. While its ventilated front seats promise to make traveling on hot days a bit more relaxing, an eight-speaker JBL premium audio system brings a more powerful soundtrack. A power liftgate and a larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen also come standard on the Limited trim.
